Easter Stained Glass Workshop Taster Sessions - 28th March

Join us for our first taster stained glass workshop sessions and learn to create an easter themed stained glass ornament.

These sessions are an 90 minutes long and give you the opportunity to try stained glass and create a beautiful sun-catcher or plant stake to take home.

Sessions:

• Morning: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
• Lunchtime: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

What you'll learn?

• How to cut, shape and smooth stained glass following a pattern
• Apply copper foil and learn about burnishing
• Learn to use flux, tinning iron and about working safely
• How to use soldering irons to create a professional piece
• Clean and polish your piece!

• Step-by-step guidance and 1:1 support
• All materials, resources and equipment to create an ornament
  

Suitable for complete beginner's and those wanting to try a new craft and create beautiful, stained glass.

Additional information

Please wear appropriate clothing/aprons for the workshop, this includes covered footwear (no sandals or open toes).

Please note: If you are pregnant, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with solder can be harmful to the developing baby.

Please do not wear loose clothing or dangly jewellery, as it may get caught in machinery. Long hair must be tied back.

Please note that you will be standing up to work for most of the session.
